About
Cozy Care Clinic
Cozy Care Clinic is a solo Registered Massage Therapy practice led by Monique Hernaez, RMT. Monique has been immersed in wellness and massage therapy throughout her life and is deeply passionate about the work she does. She provides relaxing, effective, and evidence-based care, offering therapeutic treatment that can range from gentle to deeper work based on individual needs. Monique takes the time to listen to her clients, creating a supportive experience where comfort, trust, and meaningful results come first—an approach that has led many clients to return for ongoing care. While new to the area, Monique previously practiced in Guildford, Surrey for several years before opening Cozy Care Clinic.

Massage Therapy

tailored to each individual, with pressure adapted from gentle to deeper work based on comfort, needs, and treatment goals. Sessions are evidence-based and therapeutic, focusing on relieving tension, supporting mobility, and creating a relaxed, supportive experience $135 - 60 minutes

Hot Stone Massage

combines therapeutic heat with massage therapy to help increase circulation and encourage muscle relaxation, allowing tension to soften more effectively. Smooth, warm stones are continuously moved along the body rather than placed statically, enhancing the effects of hands-on massage and creating an experience that is both highly effective and deeply relaxing $135 - 60 minutes

Fascial Stretch Therapy

integrated with massage therapy, with the therapist gently moving the client’s body to release fascial tension, restore ease of movement, and create a deeply relaxing, complementary experience $135 - 60 minutes

Do you offer direct billing?

Yes, we do! Direct billing is available for many extended health insurance plans. If your plan supports direct billing, claims can be submitted on your behalf at the time of your appointment. Coverage varies by provider and plan, and any portion not covered by insurance is the client’s responsibility. If direct billing is not available, a detailed receipt will be provided for manual submission.

Clinic Accessibility Information

The clinic is located up a set of stairs and is not wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, accessibility needs cannot be accommodated in this space. If this is a concern, referrals to clinics with accessible facilities can be provided.

Cancellation Policy

Appointments are reserved specifically for you, and advance notice is appreciated if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cozy Care Clinic does not routinely charge cancellation fees, but respectful communication is expected. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may require a conversation to ensure appointment times can continue to be reserved.

There is a dog in the premises

She is a 7lb, friendly Pomeranian, fully vaccinated, and typically very quiet, and is kept in a separate area that is not accessible to clients. The treatment space remains clean, calm, and professional at all times. If you have concerns or sensitivities, please feel free to reach out prior to your appointment.

What is the recommended arrival time for an appointment?

Clients are welcome to arrive 5–10 minutes before their scheduled appointment time. I make every effort to finish sessions on time so the previous client has left before the next appointment begins. If I am finishing up or cleaning between sessions, you are welcome to wait inside or use the restroom until your appointment starts.

Washroom

Washrooms are located down the hall. There are two available (Washroom 1 and Washroom 2). Please feel free to ask for the key if needed.
